Frequently asked questions
Which province is easiest for permanent residence?
No province is always easiest. The practical choice is where your documented profile matches a current stream.
Can I apply without a job offer?
Some Express Entry-linked and occupation-based pathways can select candidates without one, but many provincial and community routes are employer-driven.
Does a nomination guarantee PR?
No. IRCC still assesses the permanent residence application, admissibility and accuracy.
Why are Quebec and Nunavut different?
Quebec operates its own selection programs. Nunavut has no nominee program.
